Meeting Time Across Time Zones Calculator

Convert a meeting time from one UTC offset to another, for scheduling across zones.

—

This result is the time the attendee should join, in the attendee's own zone, so both sides meet at the same moment.

Formula

Attendee time = meeting time + (attendee offset − meeting-zone offset), wrapped to the 24-hour clock.

How it works

Enter the meeting time and its zone's UTC offset, then the attendee's UTC offset. The calculator shifts the time by the offset difference, so both sides can confirm the same meeting without mental arithmetic.

Worked example

For example, a 15:00 meeting in a zone at UTC+5 becomes 05:00 for an attendee at UTC-5, because 15:00 − 10 hours = 05:00.

FAQs

How is this different from the time-zone offset calculator?
It is the same arithmetic, framed for meetings: the meeting zone and the attendee zone, rather than your zone and another zone.

Does it handle daylight saving automatically?
No. Enter offsets that already reflect daylight saving on the meeting date.

What if the converted time is the next day for the attendee?
The clock wraps, so check the date as well as the time when the shift crosses midnight.
