Privacy Policy
What we collect
Nothing. Our calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter never leave your device and are never sent to us. The only exception is the small set of tools that need an outside service to work, listed below: weather (Open-Meteo), currency conversion (ExchangeRate), live stock prices (Stooq), URL shortening (is.gd), QR codes (api.qrserver.com), IP checking (ipapi.co), live translation (MyMemory), live football scores (TheSportsDB), live flight positions (OpenSky Network), and the speed test, which requests the website address you type from your own browser. For those tools, only the value you enter for that tool is sent to that service, and we do not store it. We have no accounts, no sign-ups, and no user profiles.
Cookies
This site itself does not set cookies. Advertising is already present on some pages (for example through Google AdSense), that provider may use cookies to serve ads. That use would be governed by the provider's own policy.
Third parties
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which may log technical data such as IP addresses for security and delivery purposes, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.

What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains what BuildCalc collects, what it does not collect, and how third-party services on the site work. BuildCalc is a free website with calculators and tools. You do not need an account, and you do not need to sign up to use any calculator or tool.
Information you enter
When you use a calculator, the numbers and text you enter are processed in your own browser to produce a result. BuildCalc does not ask you to create an account, and calculator inputs are not sent to BuildCalc as a stored profile. Some tools, such as lists and counters, work only in your browser. If you close the page, that local work is not saved by BuildCalc.
Information we do not collect
BuildCalc does not ask for your password, bank details, card details or government ID. Never enter those details into any calculator or tool on this site, because no calculator needs them. If a page ever asks for such details, do not enter them and contact us through the Contact page.
Contact messages
If you use the Contact page, your message opens in your own email app and is sent to the email address shown on that page. BuildCalc does not store contact messages on the website itself. Please do not include passwords, bank details or other sensitive information in a contact message.
Cookies and advertising
BuildCalc shows advertising through Google AdSense on some pages. AdSense and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads and to measure them. You can control cookies in your browser settings. BuildCalc does not sell personal information, and it does not share a list of its visitors with advertisers.
Third-party services
Some tools use free public services to work. Examples include live currency rates, live weather, QR code images and barcode images. When you use one of those tools, the text or request you enter may be sent to that service to produce the result, under that service's own policy. Tools that work only in your browser, such as image compression and image conversion, do not upload your image to BuildCalc.
Links to other sites
BuildCalc may link to other websites, for example a booking search or a blog guide. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and BuildCalc is not responsible for their content or practices. Please read their policies before entering information there.
Children
BuildCalc is a general calculator website. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children, and it does not ask any visitor for their age. Parents and guardians should supervise younger visitors, as with any public website.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if the site, its tools or its advertising change. The updated policy will be published on this page. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the updated policy.
