Add Days to Date Calculator
Add a number of days to a date and get the resulting calendar date.
The result is the calendar date reached after counting forward the number of days entered, together with the weekday of that date.
Formula
Result date = start date plus the number of days, with month and year rollover handled by the calendar, including leap years.
How it works
Pick a start date and enter how many days to add. The calculator rolls across month and year boundaries automatically, so adding 30 days to late October lands in late November, not on a non-existent October 58th.
Worked example
For example, adding 30 days to 2026-10-28 gives 2026-11-27, a Friday.
FAQs
Can I add a negative number?
Yes. Adding a negative number subtracts days, giving an earlier date.
Does it skip weekends?
No. This adds calendar days, including weekends. Use the working-days calculator if weekends must be skipped.
Does it handle leap years?
Yes. Real calendar arithmetic includes 29 February in leap years.
