Midpoint Calculator
Find the point exactly halfway between two points on a flat plane.
The midpoint result is the point halfway between the two points you entered, so it lies exactly in the middle of the line joining them.
Formula
Midpoint = ((x1 + x2) ÷ 2, (y1 + y2) ÷ 2).
How it works
Enter two points. The calculator averages the x coordinates and averages the y coordinates, giving the point halfway between them.
Worked example
For example, with points (0, 0) and (6, 10), the midpoint is ((0 + 6) ÷ 2, (0 + 10) ÷ 2) = (3.0000, 5.0000).
